Illawarra Group Training (IGT) is the major employer of apprentices in the Illawarra, with in excess of 350 employees hosted by more than 100 companies operating solely in the region. The employment covers a range of trades and industries but is particularly strong in the Engineering and Electrical trades. Other trade areas include Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning and Plumbing. IGT also offers traineeships in a variety of vocations including Business, Transport & Distrubution, and Financial Services.
